Hits’ Furry Friend of the Week: GREYSON!

Seeking a #FureverHome!

Martica and Greyson

He can’t hear you calling his name, but he has so much love to give.

Meet Greyson (ID 718538), a 6-month-old Australian Cattle Dog mix puppy who just happens to be deaf. While that may sound like a challenge, Greyson doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. He plays, explores, makes friends, and enjoys life just like any other happy puppy.

This handsome boy came to us from another shelter and has quickly become a favorite among staff and volunteers. Greyson is sweet, curious, affectionate, and loves meeting new people. He enjoys toys, treats, and spending time outside exploring the world around him.

Like many young puppies, Greyson has lots of energy and would love an active family that can help him continue learning and growing. He walks nicely on a leash, loves being petted, and is always looking for his next adventure. He can often be found climbing onto chairs, tunnels, laps, or anything else that gives him a better view of the action.

What Greyson needs most is someone willing to look past his deafness and see the incredible puppy he truly is. He doesn’t need anyone to feel sorry for him. He simply needs a family that will love him, be patient with him, and give him the chance to thrive. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, resilient puppy to add to your family, Greyson may be the one you’ve been waiting for.

Adoption Ambassador: If you can provide a temporary home for a large-breed dog, become an Adoption Ambassador for the Humane Society of Broward County. Ambassadors help market the pet through your network of friends and associates, while giving the pet a vacation from the shelter environment. Sometimes a different setting is all that is needed to help our furry friends find their forever home.

Spay/Neuter Services:
